Show News

Oh dear!   Constructing this page in January 2006 is really very difficult as I have already been showing for many years and have many titled cats!   There is so much history!  (I ran out of wall space for rosettes years ago…..)

I feel all I can really do is to try and give some information on the cats I have shown during 2005 and am actively showing at the moment.  I will try to update this after every show...

SOMERSET CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 2ND JUNE 2007

Fero won one of the first Championship Certificates ever for an Egyptian Mau, as they were only awarded Championship Status by the GCCF with effect from 1st June 2007.   He also got Best of Breed.   In her report Judge, Maureen Smith, wrote ‘I must say what a superb temperament this lad has; he just wanted cuddles and he licked Viv (her steward) to death’.   I know he’s very handsome, but to have a lovely temperament is the most important thing!

I also took Gr.Ch. & Premier Santillo Nuttie Nutmeg to his show and she won the Reserve in the Grand Premiership Class as well as Best of Breed in the open class.

I was also very pleased that Fero’s son, a beautiful Smoke Egyptian Mau bred by Vanessa Guy, was awarded Best of Variety Foreign Kitten!   He also won all his other classes to have a wonderful ‘all red card’ day.  Congratulations!
